As a Custom Software Engineer, your daily activities will involve the design, creation, and configuration of applications. These applications will be tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. This role emphasizes a meticulous approach to understanding distinct project needs and translating them into effective software solutions.

The workday typically includes close collaboration with various teams to ensure that developed applications align with organizational objectives and deliver seamless functionality. Continuous improvement and adaptation of applications to changing business demands are crucial aspects of this role, fostering innovation and efficiency.

Gather customer requirements related to the IT landscape through effective interviews. Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Solution Architects to recommend infrastructural best practices. Assess existing customer infrastructure and hardware to suggest necessary improvements. Design and document the integration of 3DEXPERIENCE components within the broader IT landscape. Deploy, operate, and maintain the DS 3DEXPERIENCE platform within the customer's IT infrastructure.

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required. Must possess expertise in Dassault Systemes ENOVIA V5. Proficiency in developing custom software solutions, including design, coding, and enhancement of system components, using modern frameworks and agile methodologies. Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE platform installation and configuration (version 2019x or later). Ability to write scripts for installation and build processes using languages such as Shell, SQL, MQL, TCL, ANT, Ansible, and YAML. Experience in configuring and integrating SAML/LDAP with 3DEXPERIENCE. Prior experience with networking, load balancing, and performance tuning of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform is essential. Familiarity with version control systems like Git is necessary.

Additionally, a minimum of 4 years of experience in 3DExperience installation, administration, and deployment is highly desirable. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills are expected. Good team management abilities and the capacity to work effectively with peers are important.
