As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and unique application needs. This role demands a meticulous approach to understanding project requirements and translating them into efficient software solutions.

Your typical day will involve close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure applications align with organizational objectives. You will also be responsible for continuously refining and optimizing software to enhance both performance and user experience.

Independently perform duties and develop into a subject matter expert (SME). Actively participate and contribute to team discussions. Provide insightful solutions to work-related challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements. Ensure developed applications are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to high-quality standards. Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them on best practices. Continuously assess emerging technologies and propose enhancements for existing systems.

Demonstrate proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. Gain experience with data integration and transformation within cloud-based environments. Possess strong problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex application issues. Be familiar with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Be capable of optimizing application performance while ensuring data security and compliance.

A minimum of 3 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform is mandatory. A foundational education of 15 years of full-time study is required for this role.
