This role focuses on developing custom software solutions within SAP Materials Management (MM). You will leverage AI assisted development tools and copilots to enhance requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and problem resolution, accelerating the delivery of scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. The position emphasizes streamlining procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration through the integration of pre-built AI capabilities, without requiring direct development of LLM or agentic AI systems.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP MM processes such as Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Vendor Management, and Inventory Management. You will utilize AI copilots for generating functional specifications, validating configurations, creating test cases, and automating documentation. Support will be provided for end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare, and integration with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems. Additionally, you will apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation, integrating pre-built AI services for enhanced MM operations and utilizing LLM assisted troubleshooting.

A strong understanding of SAP MM, including P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management, is essential. Experience in configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is required. Familiarity with integrations across SAP SD, FI, PP, and QM, along with knowledge of IDocs, outputs, pricing procedures, and common MM troubleshooting patterns, is necessary. Proven hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM powered documentation tools, and AI assisted testing accelerators is also crucial. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation, coupled with an understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations, is key. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are expected, along with a continuous learning mindset for adopting AI-enabled productivity tools.
