Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, specializing in developing tailored software solutions. You will apply AI copilots and other tools to accelerate various stages of the development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and documentation. The goal is to boost productivity and efficiency without requiring deep expertise in core AI model development, RAG, or agentic AI systems. This position is integral to creating innovative and responsive software solutions for our clients.

As a Custom Software Engineer, your primary focus will be on designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP Materials Management (MM) processes. You will utilize AI-assisted development tools and copilots to speed up requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and problem resolution, ensuring streamlined procurement and inventory management.

Key duties include configuring and optimizing core MM processes such as Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Order Management, Vendor Management, and Inventory Control. You will also integrate MM functionalities with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems using standard APIs and middleware. Leveraging AI tools will be crucial for accelerating requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and documentation generation.

You will also integrate pre-built AI services to enhance MM operations, such as automated material classification and predictive signals for inventory issues. Ensuring compliance with procurement governance and collaborating with cross-functional teams are also essential aspects of this role.

We are seeking an engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management. A strong understanding of P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management is essential.

Experience with configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is required. Familiarity with integrations across SD, FI, PP, and QM, along with knowledge of IDocs and common MM troubleshooting patterns, is also necessary.

Candidates should have hands-on experience using AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows is key. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a continuous learning mindset, are highly valued for this role.
