This role involves developing and enhancing custom software solutions, focusing on designing, coding, and improving components across various systems. Utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies, the objective is to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that precisely meet unique business requirements. A key aspect is leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting, driving integration, quality, and productivity.

While AI-powered productivity is central, the role does not necessitate deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering. The emphasis is on applying AI to augment existing SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting capabilities and related processes, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.

Configure and refine core SAP FI functionalities, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing processes. Transform business needs into robust SAP configurations, employing AI copilots to speed up analysis and documentation.

Support the full delivery lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing solutions to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules like MM, SD, CO, AA, and external systems using standard integration patterns and APIs.

Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, such as anomaly detection and intelligent validations, to elevate finance processes. Leverage AI tools for interpreting financial data, diagnosing errors, and expediting issue resolution.

Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions, enhanced by AI-driven insights. Foster collaboration with finance users, functional teams, technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-quality solutions. Contribute to building reusable assets like templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and AI-assisted development best practices.

A strong foundation in SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, including expertise in the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation and compliance. Prior experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules is required.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing. Possess an understanding of AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services, without requiring model training or advanced RAG/agentic development. The ability to effectively use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution is crucial.

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills specifically within finance processes and data. Exhibit clear communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration with both business and technical teams. Be capable of translating business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and be comfortable adopting AI-enabled workflows.
