Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer and play a key role in developing cutting-edge, AI-native, cloud-ready SAP solutions. You will leverage deep ABAP and SAP platform expertise, combined with agentic AI architectures and LLM tooling, to build intelligent applications.

This role emphasizes creating AI systems, not just using them. You will design, implement, and scale sophisticated SAP applications that seamlessly integrate ABAP Cloud with LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and enterprise systems, driving towards greater autonomy in business processes.

Design and build advanced ABAP Cloud applications, embedding LLM-driven intelligence into SAP processes using modern frameworks like RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions, focusing on clean, testable ABAP code that integrates with AI services and enterprise APIs. Develop agentic workflows, integrating LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with SAP Cloud services. Build and integrate retrieval pipelines using diverse SAP and non-SAP data sources, ensuring factuality and explainability in AI-driven workflows. Implement robust evaluation frameworks, guardrails for security and privacy, and observability into AI-enabled applications. Prototype rapidly, iterate based on feedback, and scale AI solutions into enterprise-grade production systems.

A strong foundation in SAP ABAP Cloud is essential, including proficiency in RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles. Demonstrate hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications, with practical knowledge of building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval. Possess solid software engineering fundamentals, encompassing design, testing, and CI/CD practices. An ability to translate complex business problems into innovative, AI-enabled SAP solutions is crucial. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required, along with 15 years of full-time education.
