This role focuses on designing, building, and configuring applications to meet specific business process and application requirements. As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing solutions that drive business value.

You will serve as a key point of contact for the Bravura Sonata application package, handling code changes and maintenance. A deep understanding of the Bravura Sonata Wealth Management application, encompassing its functional, technical, and regulatory features, along with its database functions, is essential for success in this position.

Lead the Financial Wealth Management product for clients, specifically the Bravura Sonata application, ensuring adherence to UK/Europe compliance standards.

Develop proficiency in the Bravura Sonata database structure and demonstrate the ability to write precise SQL queries based on client needs.

Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, including those involving data corrections, to maintain application integrity.

Address client inquiries related to Data Scans and Business Reports issues, and develop PL/SQL scripts for product database scans.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Wealth and Asset Management is mandatory.

Possess a strong functional and technical understanding of the Bravura Sonata Wealth Management application, including knowledge of Sonata RDA, its database, data model, and business processes.

Familiarity with Sonata integration and UK wealth management products such as Retirement Account, SIPP, and ISA is expected.

Experience with database management systems and PL/SQL is required.

Stay updated on industry trends and relevant technologies like Azure Cloud.

Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, and helpdesk interactions is beneficial.

A solid grasp of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, including ITIL processes and ITSM tool exposure, is necessary.

Exhibit strong communication and client-facing skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
