- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, with specific expertise in JavaScript. - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, representing 15 years of full-time education. - 4 to 7 years of experience developing video streaming applications for Roku, utilizing Bright Script, Scene Graph, and XML. - Proficiency with Bright Script and Roku debugging tools. - Deep understanding of the Scene Graph framework and its fundamental principles. - Experience integrating third-party libraries like Player, Analytics, and Advertising SDKs. - Familiarity with Roku APIs and application development practices. - Knowledge of video encoding and streaming formats such as HLS, DASH, and DRM. - Exposure to In-App Purchase (IAP) and billing testing. - Experience consuming RESTful Services and JSON. - Familiarity with Roku Channel certification and publishing guidelines. - Proven experience in performance optimization on Roku devices. - 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience developing applications with Bright Script and Scene Graph. - Experience in developing and customizing UI components using Scene Graph. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities. - Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs. - Experience with Roku application release and deployment procedures.
