Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, a senior role focused on architecting and delivering innovative AI-native Oracle solutions. You will build and run bespoke AI applications and agents on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), specifically tailored to customer data and Oracle Cloud Visual Builder processes.

Lead the design, build, and configuration of custom Oracle AI solutions that enhance Oracle Cloud Visual Builder scenarios using OCI AI services and Oracle data platforms. Implement end-to-end RAG/agent patterns, including ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking, and grounded generation with citations.

Define and integrate evaluation and quality gates, such as grounding checks, regression tests, and red-teaming prompts, into CI/CD pipelines. Engineer secure-by-design deployments, managing OCI IAM policies, network isolation, secrets, and audit logging for production readiness. Ensure smooth AI operations in production by defining SLOs, monitoring performance (latency, errors, token/cost), developing incident playbooks, and continuously optimizing for efficiency and reliability.

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. Essential technical skills include a strong foundation in OCI Generative AI and Data Science, proficiency with vector databases and embeddings, and expertise in Oracle data integration and governance, including PII classification, access control, and lineage.

Candidates must possess robust engineering skills within the Oracle Cloud Visual Builder domain to effectively ground AI outputs in Oracle process and data contexts. Experience with LLMOps, covering prompt and version control, evaluation harnesses, monitoring, and FinOps cost controls, is also critical. The ability to take Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to production with strong governance and reliability is expected.
