This role requires expertise in Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation.
Design, implement, and optimize control system architectures, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and HMI, to meet manufacturing plant requirements.
Develop and maintain software for PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and historian systems, ensuring code quality through reviews and version control.
Commission, troubleshoot, and provide support for control system issues, offering rapid on-call assistance when necessary.
Implement industrial and secure OT networks using various communication protocols and security measures.
Ensure compliance with ISA/IEC standards and functional safety requirements.
Create and maintain comprehensive automation project documentation.
Participate in root cause analysis and lead corrective action activities.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field is required.
This position necessitates a strong foundation in Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation.
Educational qualifications include 15 years of full-time education.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation/Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related fields.
Experience with industrial automation, OT/Control systems engineering, and PLC programming languages (IEC 61131-3) is essential.
Proficiency in PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA platforms (AVEVA, Siemens, FactoryTalk, Ignition) is crucial.
Knowledge of industrial protocols, networks, and troubleshooting skills are also key.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are expected.
