This role focuses on building AI-native, enterprise-grade user experiences within the SAPUI5 framework and the broader SAP Fiori paradigm. It requires a fusion of deep front-end engineering expertise with advanced agentic AI patterns, including LLM-integrated UX, tool-augmented interactions, and robust evaluation loops. The objective is to transcend traditional forms and screens, creating intelligent, guided, and adaptive SAP experiences that significantly accelerate user task completion while ensuring enterprise-level performance, accessibility, security, and reliability.

Design and build responsive, user-friendly SAPUI5 interfaces utilizing MVC architecture and component-based patterns. Develop and customize UI5 applications with JavaScript, JSON, and CSS, adhering to strict Git-based source control practices.

Implement data flows using an OData-first approach, incorporating service mocking for development and testing. Develop scalable client-side models and bindings capable of handling complex enterprise datasets.

Integrate AI-driven experiences into UI flows, enabling in-moment assistance where the UI interprets intent, suggests next steps, and provides contextual guidance. Implement tool-augmented UI patterns for front-end orchestration of approved tools and services, ensuring clear user confirmation and safe action boundaries. Build retrieval-grounded UI interactions (RAG-style) to ensure AI outputs remain tied to enterprise knowledge and business context, with deterministic fallbacks.

Ensure high quality and reliability through automated testing of UI components using unit and acceptance testing patterns. Optimize performance and maintainability by reducing UI bloat, applying reusable components, and enforcing consistent coding standards.

Adhere to SAP Fiori design principles and UX paradigms to deliver role-based, consistent experiences across devices. Understand the positioning of SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 within the enterprise context.

Quickly prototype, demo frequently, and iterate with stakeholders, hardening solutions into production-ready code with robust observability and regression testing for both UI and AI behaviors.
