Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on developing and enhancing SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting capabilities. This role leverages AI-assisted development tools to accelerate financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, and troubleshooting. You'll contribute to integrations and ensure high-quality delivery, driving AI-enabled productivity.

We are seeking an individual who can design, configure, and enhance SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting. The position emphasizes the integration of financial processes and the delivery of quality solutions. While AI tools will be integral to the workflow, deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering is not required.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots to speed up analysis and documentation. Support the entire delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering through hypercare.

Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and CO, as well as external systems using standard patterns and APIs. Employ AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating documentation. Apply pre-built AI services for anomaly detection and intelligent validations to improve finance processes. Utilize AI tools for financial data interpretation and faster issue resolution.

A strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, covering areas such as the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation. Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules is required.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation, and AI-driven testing tools. Possess an understanding of AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services. Proficiency in using AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution is crucial.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in finance processes and data are needed. Strong communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams are vital. The ability to translate business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions and a continuous learning mindset with comfort adopting AI-enabled workflows are expected.
