Responsibilities encompass application support, incident resolution, performance monitoring, user assistance, system administration, and driving continuous improvement. Independently perform duties and develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Contribute actively to team discussions and technical solution development. Provide L2/L3 application support for AspenTech engineering and manufacturing applications. Troubleshoot a range of issues including application, integration, performance, and data problems within the AspenTech environment. Support AspenONE Engineering tools (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, Icarus, HTFS) and Aspen Manufacturing & Supply Chain applications. Maintain and support Aspen Fidelis for reliability and asset criticality analysis. Administer and troubleshoot Aspen InfoPlus.21 (IP.21) Historian and related interfaces. Support IP Gateway for seamless data exchange between operational and enterprise systems. Investigate and resolve data quality, synchronization, and reporting issues. Execute configuration changes, minor enhancements, and application maintenance tasks. Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions. Coordinate effectively with vendors, business users, infrastructure teams, and engineering stakeholders for efficient issue resolution. Develop and maintain essential support documentation, knowledge articles, and operating procedures. Ensure adherence to SLA, KPI, Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes. Participate in system upgrades, patching, testing, and deployment activities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to boost system reliability and operational efficiency.

A minimum of 8-10 years of dedicated experience in Application Support, AMS, or Production Support roles is essential. Knowledge of application administration, configuration, and user support practices is required. Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management processes is a must. Familiarity with SQL queries and database troubleshooting is beneficial. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are vital. Experience working within ITIL-based support environments is expected.
