We are seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer to develop bespoke software solutions. This role involves designing, coding, and enhancing system components, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance applications tailored to specific business requirements. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to build robust and efficient software.

This position focuses on building, configuring, and deploying Copilot Studio agents. Responsibilities include designing conversational flows, integrating knowledge sources, and extending agent capabilities using Power Automate, MCP Server tool connections, and Azure AI Foundry-hosted models. The goal is to create intelligent agents that meet complex business needs.

Design and develop comprehensive Copilot Studio agents, encompassing topics, trigger phrases, entities, variables, and conversation flows. Configure generative orchestration, knowledge sources, and generative answers for accurate agent responses. Build and maintain Power Automate flows to automate processes and integrate with line-of-business systems. Implement and utilize MCP Server tool/plugin connections to enhance agent functionalities. Manage agent publishing across various channels and oversee environment/ALM practices. Tune agent behavior and prompts, leveraging Azure AI Foundry for advanced model selection or custom grounding when necessary. Conduct thorough unit-level testing and troubleshoot conversational issues. Apply responsible AI practices to ensure safety, fairness, and accuracy. Collaborate with team leads on agent design, security, and ALM alignment.

Proven experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, including topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, publishing, and ALM. Proficiency in Power Automate for automation and integration with Copilot Studio agents. Experience configuring MCP Server/tool connections. Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry for model selection, prompt engineering, and grounding patterns (RAG, agentic workflows). Understanding of responsible AI principles and bias/safety validation. Agile delivery experience is preferred. Strong debugging and conversational-flow troubleshooting skills. A foundation of 15 years of full-time education is required.
