Support end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems using standard APIs and middleware. Apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, and test creation. Integrate pre-built AI services to enhance MM operations, such as automated classification and predictive signals. Utilize LLM-assisted troubleshooting to improve incident resolution times.
Ensure adherence to procurement governance, audit policies, and material master standards. Participate in process optimization discussions, contributing reusable templates and AI-augmented best practices. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, production, and engineering.
A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with a maximum of 5 years considered. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of SAP MM, including P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience in configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential.
Familiarity with integration across SAP SD, FI, PP, and QM modules is necessary, along with knowledge of IDocs, outputs, pricing procedures, and common MM troubleshooting patterns. Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators is crucial.
Demonstrated ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is required. Understanding of responsible AI usage, data quality impacts, and AI limitations within procurement contexts is important. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in procurement and material management scenarios, coupled with the ability to translate business requirements into logical SAP MM configurations, are expected.
