Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer and play a key role in developing sophisticated software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems, employing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions tailored to unique business requirements.

This role specifically focuses on leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate tasks such as requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. You will contribute to delivering efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions, integrating pre-built AI services, and boosting productivity through AI enablement, rather than deep AI model development.

Configure and optimize SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) components, including order management, pricing, delivery, billing, credit management, and returns. Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating pricing logic, generating test cases, and accelerating documentation.

Support end-to-end implementation cycles from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Integrate SD with MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems using standard APIs and middleware.

Leverage AI-enabled tools for process analysis, pricing diagnostics, impact analysis, test planning, and documentation automation. Incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows for automated exception detection, intelligent order classification, and smart summarization of issues. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times.

Ensure solutions comply with organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, pricing governance, and compliance. Conduct workshops and solution walkthroughs using AI-supported insights. Collaborate with logistics, finance, supply chain, master data, and technical teams for O2C alignment. Contribute reusable templates and best practices enhanced by AI accelerators.

A strong foundation in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) is essential, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of Order to Cash (O2C) processes such as order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, including cross-module dependencies, is also required.

Familiarity with master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps is necessary. Proficiency in utilizing AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools is a key requirement. You should be able to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows.
