Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer and contribute to cutting-edge automotive digital cockpit solutions. This full-time role involves developing and enhancing software components, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable and high-performing applications tailored to specific business requirements.

This position is ideal for an engineer keen on deepening their expertise in AOSP and automotive concepts while working under the mentorship of experienced professionals. You will focus on well-defined implementation tasks, rigorous testing, and defect resolution, playing a key role in building next-generation in-car experiences.

You will be responsible for implementing well-specified software changes, including adding new features and extending existing functionalities. This includes writing and maintaining comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and improve coverage. You'll also develop and support essential development and test tooling, such as property injection scripts and log parsers.

Assisting with build, flash, and bring-up activities on development hardware is part of the role. You will also be tasked with reproducing reported defects, gathering necessary logs, and resolving straightforward issues with guidance. Collaboration and continuous learning are vital; you'll actively learn AOSP workflows, the Car Framework model, and team coding conventions, while participating in code reviews to foster growth.

A strong foundation in software engineering with 2-5 years of experience, including meaningful exposure to Android or embedded systems, is required. Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin for writing clear, functional code and unit tests independently is essential. Solid C++ fundamentals are necessary for reading and modifying existing code with support.

Understanding of Android application and service fundamentals, including components, lifecycle, Service, and AIDL at a usage level, is expected. Basic competence with Linux command-line operations and fluency in Git are also required. We seek individuals with a demonstrated ability and willingness to rapidly learn platform-level concepts. Experience with Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions is a key requirement.
