Develop and enhance custom software solutions, crafting scalable and high-performing applications tailored to specific business needs. This role emphasizes modern frameworks and agile practices for designing, coding, and integrating components across various systems. You will build AI-native enterprise applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), combining strong platform engineering with agentic AI application patterns. The focus is on building, deploying, and operating cloud applications, evolving them into intelligent systems through rapid prototyping and production hardening.

Engineer cloud applications on SAP BTP, managing platform fundamentals, administration, solution design, and full-stack development. Deliver backend services and APIs using Node.js patterns, and develop responsive UI components with SAPUI5. Design and implement data models and connect applications to SAP HANA-based persistence. Configure subaccounts, service instances, roles, and connectivity artifacts, deploying applications using multi-target application artifacts. Integrate LLM-powered features, tool calling, orchestration, and memory handling, building retrieval-grounded experiences and evaluation loops. Utilize Git-based workflows and Agile/Scrum methodologies, debugging and resolving issues throughout the delivery process.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required, with a strong foundation in SAP BTP application development covering platform architecture, administration, solution design, and full-stack build. Proven hands-on experience in backend services, APIs, data models, and UI integration is essential. A solid understanding of software engineering principles, including clean code, testing, and CI/CD orientation, is necessary to transition from prototype to production. Practical exposure to BTP development tooling and patterns, and familiarity with learning paths and community materials are highly beneficial. A 15-year full-time education is a prerequisite for this role.
