Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on developing and enhancing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules. This role leverages modern frameworks and agile practices to create scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will utilize AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting, aiming for efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions.

This position emphasizes improving productivity through AI-enabled assistance rather than deep AI model development. You'll be instrumental in delivering efficient O2C solutions by integrating pre-built AI services where beneficial, and contributing to a more productive workflow through intelligent assistance.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP SD components such as Order Management, Pricing, Delivery Processing, Billing, and Credit Management. You will use AI copilots to draft functional specifications, validate pricing logic, and generate test cases, significantly accelerating documentation creation. The role involves supporting end-to-end implementation cycles, from gathering requirements and solution design to post-go-live support.

Furthermore, you will apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate process analysis, pricing diagnostics, and impact analysis for change requests. This includes test planning, execution, and automating documentation creation. Incorporating pre-built AI features into SD workflows, like automated exception detection in billing or intelligent order classification, will be a key part of this role. You will also utilize LLM assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times.

A strong understanding of O2C processes, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures, is essential. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, along with cross-module dependencies, is required. Familiarity with master data, IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps is also necessary.

This role demands hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis. You should be able to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows, understanding responsible AI usage and its limitations in commercial workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in O2C scenarios, the ability to translate business requirements into SAP SD configurations, and effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders are crucial. A continuous learning mindset and comfort with AI augmented productivity tools are also expected.
