Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer focused on Packaged Application Development. You will design, build, and configure applications to meet diverse business process and application requirements. This role involves leveraging Salesforce Data 360 to create and support customer data solutions.

As a senior developer, your contributions will span data ingestion, data modeling, identity resolution, data transformations, calculated insights, and segmentation. You'll collaborate closely with architects and business teams to ensure implementations align perfectly with business needs. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) and a proven ability to deliver robust solutions.

Configure and maintain Data Streams from various Salesforce clouds and external systems. Build and manage Data Model Objects (DMOs), set up Identity Resolution rules, and develop Data Transforms. Write and optimize SQL for Calculated Insights, and create/test segments for downstream activation.

Debug issues related to data discrepancies, incorrect unification, or data mismatches. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployments, and post-go-live production issues. Work collaboratively with architects and analysts to implement technical designs and participate actively in code reviews, testing, and release cycles. Assist with defect resolution, optimization activities, and meticulously document Data 360 configurations and technical flows.

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience is required, with 2-5 years being ideal for this full-time role. Essential skills include hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) configuration and development, with a solid understanding of Data Streams, DMOs, Identity Resolution, Data Transforms, Calculated Insights (SQL), and Segmentation & Activation. Strong SQL proficiency, including joins, aggregations, and window functions, is crucial.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to develop maintainable and scalable solutions, possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, and have experience working with JSON, APIs, and data integration pipelines. A foundational understanding of event-based data, customer engagement tracking, and Salesforce metadata, objects, and permissions is also expected. Mandatory certifications include Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Administrator. Experience in Agile teams is beneficial, and 15 years of full-time education is a requirement.
