Drive the creation of bespoke software solutions by designing, coding, and refining system components. This role emphasizes leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to unique business needs. You will be instrumental in building, configuring, and publishing Copilot Studio agents from inception to completion, encompassing topic design, knowledge integration, and generative responses. Your expertise will extend agent capabilities through Power Automate, MCP Server tool connections, and Azure AI Foundry-hosted models.

Design and develop comprehensive Copilot Studio agents, defining topics, trigger phrases, entities, and conversational flows. Configure generative orchestration, knowledge sources, and generative answers for accurate agent responses. Build and maintain Power Automate flows to enhance agent actions, manage backend processes, and integrate with line-of-business systems. Implement and utilize MCP Server tool/plugin connections to expand agent functionality beyond native Copilot Studio features. Manage agent publishing across various channels, including Teams, web, and custom applications, while overseeing environment and ALM practices.

Refine agent behavior, instructions, and prompts within Copilot Studio, utilizing Azure AI Foundry for advanced model selection or custom grounding when necessary. Conduct thorough unit-level testing of topics, flows, and tool integrations, diagnosing and resolving conversational breakdowns and connector/plugin issues. Adhere to responsible AI practices, focusing on bias mitigation, safety, and hallucination checks throughout agent development. Collaborate closely with architects and team leads on agent design, security protocols, and ALM alignment, actively participating in code and configuration reviews.

A strong development background is essential, featuring hands-on expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio, including topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, publishing, and ALM. A working knowledge of Power Automate for flow-based automation and its integration with Copilot Studio agents is required. Experience in configuring MCP Server/tool connections to extend agent actions is necessary. Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry for model selection, prompt engineering, and grounding patterns like RAG and agentic workflows is beneficial. A solid understanding of responsible AI principles and bias/safety validation practices is expected. Agile delivery experience is preferred, alongside strong debugging and conversational-flow troubleshooting skills. A minimum of 2 years of experience is mandatory, with 15 years of full-time education.
