We are seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on developing bespoke software solutions, involving the design, coding, and enhancement of system and application components. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver robust, high-performance solutions that address specific business needs.

The position requires an individual who can independently contribute and become a subject matter expert. Collaboration is key, with active participation in team discussions and problem-solving sessions. The aim is to create adaptable, scalable software that evolves with organizational objectives.

Key responsibilities include independently developing custom software, contributing expertise to team discussions, and providing solutions to complex technical challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective technical designs. This involves maintaining and updating existing software for improved performance and reliability, documenting development efforts for knowledge sharing, and guiding junior team members.

Specifically, you will gather customer requirements, and then plan, design, implement, test, and document integration processes within the Coupa procurement environment. This includes developing test plans, conducting testing, debugging, and supporting buyer/supplier transaction integrations in Coupa.

To excel in this role, a strong proficiency in Coupa is essential. You should possess a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile practices, coupled with experience in designing and implementing scalable software components. The ability to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues is crucial.

Familiarity with software system and API integration is expected, alongside strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. A minimum of three years of experience, particularly with Coupa, is required. Candidates must have completed 15 years of full-time education.
