Join us as a Custom Software Engineer focused on developing and enhancing SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting solutions. This role leverages modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver high-performing, scalable software tailored to specific business needs. You will utilize AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting.

This position emphasizes integration and quality delivery, aiming for AI-enabled productivity without requiring deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, using AI copilots to accelerate analysis and documentation. Support end-to-end delivery, encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems via standard integration patterns/APIs. Employ AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating documentation. Apply pre-built AI services for anomaly detection, forecasting, and intelligent validations to enhance finance processes. Utilize AI tools for financial data interpretation, error diagnosis, and faster resolution. Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions using AI-enhanced insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional teams, technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-quality solutions. Contribute to reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and AI-assisted development best practices.

A strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, covering the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation/compliance. Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules is required. Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing tools is necessary. A foundational understanding of AI concepts, its limitations, responsible AI usage, and practical application of pre-built AI services is expected (model training, RAG, or agentic development are not primary focuses). You should be adept at using AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in finance processes and data are crucial. Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams are vital. You must possess the ability to translate business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions. A continuous learning mindset and comfort with adopting AI-enabled workflows are important. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, and a full-time education spanning 15 years is mandatory.
