As a Custom Software Engineer specializing in SAP MM, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing system components. This role leverages modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing custom software solutions. The position involves utilizing AI-powered tools to accelerate various aspects of the development lifecycle. This includes requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. The goal is to streamline procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration by integrating pre-built AI capabilities to enhance productivity.

Configure and optimize SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, encompassing Procure-to-Pay (P2P), requisition and order management, vendor management, and inventory control.

Utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate configuration logic, develop comprehensive test cases, and automate key documentation tasks. Support end-to-end delivery, from requirements gathering to hypercare, and integrate MM with other SAP modules and external systems.

Apply AI tools to expedite requirement interpretation, process design, data validation, and error diagnostics. Accelerate test creation, regression analysis, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services for tasks like automated material classification and predictive signaling. Leverage LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times.

Ensure adherence to procurement governance, audit policies, and material master standards. Participate in process optimization discussions enhanced by AI-generated insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions and contribute reusable templates and AI-augmented best practices.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP MM, including P2P processes, purchasing flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience in configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is crucial.
