This role is for a Custom Software Engineer focused on building AI-native, cloud-ready SAP solutions. You will leverage deep ABAP and SAP platform expertise alongside agentic AI architectures and LLM tooling.

The focus is on creating intelligent SAP applications that integrate ABAP Cloud with LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and enterprise systems, driving towards greater autonomy.

You will be actively involved in building AI systems, not just using AI tools.

Design and develop ABAP Cloud applications that embed LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes. Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures, ensuring clean, testable code.

Integrate LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with ABAP Cloud services for contextual responses. Implement agentic workflows including tools, planners, memory, and orchestration loops.

Build and integrate retrieval pipelines from various data sources. Implement evaluation frameworks and design guardrails for security, authorization, and error handling. Develop observability into AI-enabled applications and rapidly experiment with new solutions.

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with a preference for 2-5 years.

Must have strong skills in SAP ABAP Cloud, including RAP, CDS Views, OData, and clean core principles. Proven experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications, and building RAG pipelines with embeddings and contextual retrieval is essential.

Solid software engineering fundamentals in design, testing, and CI/CD are expected. The ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled SAP solutions is crucial. A 15-year full-time education is a requirement.
