As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing system components. This role utilizes modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to specific business requirements. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting, focusing on integration, quality, and AI-driven productivity without requiring deep model development.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP configurations using AI copilots for accelerated analysis and documentation. Support the entire delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems via standard integration patterns and APIs. Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, such as anomaly detection and forecasting, to enhance financial processes. Employ AI tools for financial data interpretation, error diagnosis, and efficient issue resolution. Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions augmented by AI insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional teams, technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to ensure aligned, high-quality solutions. Contribute to the development of reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and best practices for AI-assisted development.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation/compliance. Demonstrate experience integrating SAP FI with CO, MM, and SD modules. Have hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing. Understand fundamental AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services (model training, RAG, or agentic development are not required). Exhibit the ability to use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills in finance processes and data. Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams. Translate business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and comfort with adopting AI-enabled workflows. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with a preference for 2-5 years. Completion of 15 years of full-time education is mandatory.
