Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, specializing in developing innovative SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting solutions. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline financial processes, enhance system integration, and ensure high-quality delivery.

This role focuses on optimizing financial analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting. While it emphasizes practical application of AI for productivity, it does not require deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Financial Closing. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations using AI copilots for accelerated analysis and documentation. Support the entire delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to hypercare.

Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules and external systems. Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, and performing impact analysis. Apply pre-built AI services to improve finance processes and use AI tools for financial data interpretation and faster issue resolution.

Ensure compliance with SDLC, audit controls, and finance governance standards. Conduct workshops and solution walkthroughs using AI-enhanced insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Contribute to reusable templates and AI-assisted development best practices.

A strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Taxation, is essential. Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules is required.

Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation, and AI-driven testing tools is crucial. A practical understanding of AI concepts, limitations, and responsible AI usage is expected, focusing on the application of pre-built AI services rather than model training or RAG.

Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in finance processes and data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business and technical teams are necessary.
