As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing custom software solutions. This role involves designing, coding, and improving components across various systems and applications. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that precisely meet specific business requirements.

The focus will be on designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting capabilities. You will utilize AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, test creation, and troubleshooting. The position emphasizes seamless integration, high-quality delivery, and AI-enabled productivity, without necessitating deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.

Configure and refine core SAP FI modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate complex business needs into robust SAP configurations, using AI copilots to expedite analysis and documentation efforts.

Provide end-to-end support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live hypercare. Facilitate the integration of SAP FI with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and CO, as well as external systems, using standard integration patterns and APIs.

Utilize AI copilots for generating functional specifications, validating configurations, creating test scripts, conducting impact analyses, and producing comprehensive documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, like anomaly detection and forecasting, to elevate financial processes. Employ AI tools for interpreting financial data, diagnosing errors, and achieving faster issue resolution.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation and compliance. Demonstrate experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules.

Gain hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing utilities. Understand fundamental AI concepts, their limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services. Be proficient in using AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and resolving issues.

Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities related to finance processes and data. Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
