Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, developing innovative software solutions. You will design, code, and enhance components across various systems, leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. This role is crucial for meeting specific business needs with precision.

As a key interface for testing, validation, integration, and requirements management, you will collaborate with global teams. You will actively contribute to building and developing our testing capabilities, focusing on test development, execution, environment management, and providing technical guidance.

Develop comprehensive test strategies, define new test cases, and implement automated test suites. Analyze and interpret test results, collaborating with technical experts to optimize testing processes. You will be responsible for testing infotainment system features such as Media, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Navigation, working closely with customers and process partners.

Your role will involve guiding and mentoring teams on technology adoption. A strong ability to think analytically, coupled with excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, is essential. You will also be expected to maintain a well-established professional network and work independently with a structured approach.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required, with a specific emphasis on Embedded Product Verification & Validation. A Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation is a prerequisite. Proficiency in test automation using languages like Python or C# is essential.

Hands-on experience with HIL test bench assembly and comfort working with hardware and electrical components are necessary. Strong knowledge of Vector tools such as CANoe and CANape is expected. Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN, and LIN protocols, along with system and subsystem knowledge of Automotive ECUs, is also important.

Experience with requirement understanding, configuration management, bug tracking, and change management tools is beneficial. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, thrive in a team environment, and demonstrate a keen analytical mindset. This is an onsite, full-time position based in Bengaluru.
