Opportunity for a Custom Software Engineer to develop and configure software systems, supporting clients and projects with expertise in technologies, applications, and methodologies. This role emphasizes the application of knowledge to deliver solutions across the product lifecycle.

This position is based in our Bengaluru office and requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.

Develop and configure software systems, applying knowledge of technologies and methodologies to support client projects.

Drive the design and development of infotainment applications using Android Automotive OS (AAOS), focusing on modularity, performance, and maintainability.

Architect full-stack solutions for media, navigation, user profiles, and distributed playback features, ensuring seamless integration with system services and HALs.

Collaborate with platform, hardware, and QA teams, while mentoring junior developers and enforcing best practices in code quality and testing.

Create detailed architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation details for stakeholder communication.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required, with a specific need for at least 3 years in Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions.

Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and C++ (14/17) is essential, alongside a deep understanding of Android SDK, NDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.

Hands-on experience with AIDL/HIDL, VHAL, and application-level interactions with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and CAN is expected.

Familiarity with Android components, AAOS car services, infotainment integration, and cybersecurity practices like TARA is beneficial.

Proficiency in testing frameworks, Git, CI/CD workflows, and debugging tools is crucial for this role.
