Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on developing innovative SAP PP solutions for discrete manufacturing. This role leverages AI-powered tools and copilots to streamline requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and issue resolution.

You will enhance production planning, shop floor execution, and material staging processes. The position integrates pre-built AI services to boost efficiency, without requiring deep AI model engineering or development of agentic systems.

Configure and support core SAP PP modules, including MRP, production orders, routings, work centers, BOM management, capacity planning, and costing integration. Utilize AI copilots to accelerate the creation of functional specifications, validation of routings/BOMs, generation of test cases, and automation of documentation.

Support the full lifecycle of SAP PP delivery, from requirements and design through SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare. Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, QM, SD, FI/CO) and shop floor systems using standard APIs and middleware.

Leverage AI for automated summarization of requirements, analysis of MRP exceptions, validation of order execution, and faster defect isolation. Integrate pre-built AI services for predictive insights, intelligent issue classification, and automated summarization of production batch deviations.

A strong foundation in SAP PP is essential, with a deep understanding of discrete manufacturing processes like BOM management, production order cycles, capacity planning, scheduling, and MRP. Experience integrating SAP PP with MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO is crucial, alongside familiarity with order confirmations and shop floor data capture.

This role demands proficiency in using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted test accelerators. You should be comfortable embedding pre-built AI capabilities into production planning workflows and possess an awareness of responsible AI usage.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required to address production variability and MRP outcomes. The ability to translate manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP PP configurations and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration are key.
