As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing tailored software solutions, encompassing design, coding, and enhancement of components across various systems and applications.

Leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies, you will deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that precisely meet specific business requirements. This role focuses on integrating AI-assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery.

Configure and refine core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate complex business needs into scalable SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots for expedited analysis and documentation. Provide end-to-end support for the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Seamlessly integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and CO, as well as external systems via standard integration patterns and APIs. Employ AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating comprehensive documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, such as anomaly detection and intelligent validations, to enhance financial processes. Utilize AI tools for interpreting financial data, diagnosing errors, and achieving faster resolutions. Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions, enhanced by AI-driven insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional and technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-quality solutions. Contribute to the development of reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and best practices for AI-assisted development.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes, including Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation. Demonstrate experience in integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules. Have hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation, and AI-driven testing tools. Understand fundamental AI concepts, including limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills for finance processes and data. Exhibit clear communication and collaboration abilities with business and technical teams. Be capable of translating business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and comfort with adopting AI-enabled workflows. A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
