Develop cutting-edge, AI-native SAP solutions on ABAP Cloud. This senior analyst role combines deep ABAP and SAP platform expertise with advanced AI architectures, including LLMs and agentic systems. You will be instrumental in building and scaling intelligent SAP applications that integrate seamlessly with modern AI technologies and enterprise systems, moving beyond simple automation towards true autonomy.

The focus is on creating solutions that reason, retrieve, and act, driving faster innovation cycles and enabling AI-driven enterprise workflows. You'll contribute to scalable, secure, and compliant SAP extensions that adhere to clean core principles.

Design and build AI-driven ABAP Cloud applications that embed LLM intelligence into core SAP business processes. Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using modern frameworks like RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), event-driven patterns, and cloud-native architectures. Develop robust, testable ABAP code that integrates effectively with AI services and enterprise APIs.

Integrate agentic workflows, including tools, planners, memory, and orchestration loops, within SAP processes. Implement LLM integration using embeddings and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines for contextual responses. Develop prompt templates, grounding strategies, and fallback logic tailored for enterprise SAP use cases. Build and integrate retrieval pipelines using diverse SAP and non-SAP data sources, ensuring factuality and explainability in AI-driven workflows. Implement evaluation frameworks and design guardrails for security, privacy, and error handling. Build observability into AI-enabled applications and rapidly experiment to scale prototypes into production-ready systems.

A minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience is required, with a strong emphasis on SAP ABAP Cloud, including RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles. Demonstrated hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications is essential. Proficiency in building RAG pipelines, managing embeddings, and implementing contextual retrieval is expected. Solid software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing, and CI/CD practices, are crucial. The ability to translate complex business problems into effective AI-enabled SAP solutions is a key requirement.

While not strictly required, experience with SAP BTP, eventing, APIs, cloud services, agent frameworks, vector databases, search, semantic indexing, and enterprise security patterns will be highly beneficial. A commitment to 15 years of full-time education is mandatory for this position.
