Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, such as Procure to Pay (P2P), inventory management, and material master data. You will leverage AI copilots to accelerate the generation of functional specifications, validate configuration logic, and create high-quality test cases. This role supports end-to-end delivery, from requirements gathering to hypercare, and involves integrating MM with other SAP modules and external systems.

Furthermore, you'll apply AI tools to enhance requirement interpretation, process design, and error diagnostics in procurement and inventory workflows. This includes generating test cases, performing regression analysis, and automating document creation. You will also integrate pre-built AI services to enhance MM operations and use LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times.

Maintaining compliance with procurement governance, audit policies, and operational controls is essential. You'll participate in workshops and process optimization discussions, supported by AI-generated insights. Collaboration with various teams, including procurement, finance, and production, is crucial for delivering cohesive MM solutions.

A strong foundation in SAP MM expertise is required, with a deep understanding of P2P processes, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience in configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, and goods movements is essential. Familiarity with integrations across SD, FI, PP, and QM, along with knowledge of IDocs and common troubleshooting patterns, is necessary.

AI-ready skills are also crucial, including hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is key. A solid understanding of responsible AI usage, data quality impacts, and AI limitations within procurement contexts is expected.
