Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer focused on SAP MM, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to develop innovative solutions. This role involves designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems, delivering scalable and high-performing applications tailored to specific business requirements. We utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure efficient and impactful software development.

This position offers the opportunity to work with AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline SAP Materials Management processes. You will accelerate requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and problem resolution, ensuring optimized procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration. While integrating AI capabilities, deep involvement in LLM development is not required.

Configure and optimize SAP Materials Management processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Vendor Management, and Inventory Management.

Utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate configuration logic, create high-quality test cases, and automate documentation.

Support end-to-end delivery across requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

Integrate MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems using standard APIs and middleware.

Apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services for enhanced MM operations and utilize LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution time.

Ensure compliance with procurement governance and audit policies. Collaborate with various teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions and contribute reusable templates and AI-augmented best practices.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP MM processes, including P2P, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential.

Familiarity with integration across SD, FI, PP, and QM, along with knowledge of IDocs, outputs, pricing procedures, and common MM troubleshooting patterns is required.

Demonstrate hands-on experience using AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is crucial, along with an understanding of responsible AI usage and data quality impacts.
