Design and implement Battery Management System (BMS) software, including State of Charge (SOC) and State of Health (SOH) estimation algorithms. Develop advanced cell balancing strategies and motor control algorithms for various motor types (PMSM, IPMSM, BLDC). Create On-Board Charger (OBC) software and implement communication stacks for charging standards like ISO 15118. Develop Thermal Management System (TMS) control algorithms and integrate High Voltage (HV) safety monitoring systems. Implement AUTOSAR application layer software components and perform unit testing and safety mechanism testing. Document software designs, algorithm specifications, and test reports according to ASPICE SWE and ISO 26262 standards.
Requires a BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Power Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or Computer Science, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive electrification or EV embedded systems. Must possess strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ and MATLAB Simulink, with knowledge of BMS algorithms, motor control techniques, and AUTOSAR Classic. Familiarity with charging standards, ISO 26262 functional safety, and high voltage safety concepts is essential. Experience with battery modeling, power electronics, cell monitoring IC integration, V2G, and WLTP cycle algorithms is beneficial.
