Advance enterprise user experiences by building AI-native applications using SAPUI5 and the SAP Fiori paradigm. This role focuses on integrating deep front-end engineering with agentic AI patterns, including LLM-integrated UX and tool-augmented interactions. The goal is to create intelligent, adaptive SAP experiences that accelerate user task completion while ensuring enterprise-level performance, accessibility, security, and reliability.

This position involves moving beyond traditional forms and screens to deliver sophisticated, AI-driven user journeys. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of SAP applications by embedding cutting-edge AI capabilities directly into the user interface.

Develop responsive, user-friendly SAPUI5 interfaces leveraging MVC architecture and component-based patterns. Implement robust data flows using an OData-first approach, designing scalable client-side models and interaction patterns. Integrate AI-driven experiences, enabling in-moment assistance, intent interpretation, and contextual guidance. Build tool-augmented UI patterns with user confirmation and safe action boundaries, and ensure AI outputs are grounded in enterprise knowledge.

Automate test coverage for UI components using unit and acceptance testing patterns. Optimize performance and maintainability by reducing UI bloat and enforcing consistent coding standards. Adhere to SAP Fiori design principles for role-based, consistent cross-device experiences. Collaborate with business stakeholders through rapid prototyping and frequent demos, hardening solutions into production with observability and regression testing.

A strong foundation in SAP UI5/SAPUI5 development and enterprise UI engineering is essential, including mastery of MVC architecture, responsive UI construction, and component-driven development. Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, and CSS, coupled with Git-based collaboration, is required. Solid experience with OData and service mocking approaches for development and testing workflows is necessary.

Candidates must demonstrate AI-native build capability, designing UX that integrates LLM behaviors with grounding, tool use, and evaluation loops. Familiarity with the SAP Fiori design paradigm and the ability to translate UX principles into scalable UI solutions are strongly beneficial. Experience with SAPUI5 testing approaches and an understanding of SAPUI5 vs. OpenUI5 positioning for enterprise delivery are also advantageous.
