Join Amazon's CTL-Quick Commerce Last Mile team as a Channel Team Lead in Kadapa, AP. This role is crucial for managing transportation operations within our delivery centers and driving performance to achieve operational goals.
As a key member of our logistics network, you will oversee IHS operations and manage the EDSP program. Your efforts will directly support the DC manager in performance enhancement and executing the operational plan to meet defined objectives and deliver exceptional results.
Focus on identifying and acquiring new retail stores for our network, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration. You will nurture and grow existing channel partner businesses with Amazon by developing and implementing strategic account plans.
Regular field visits to targeted stores are essential for driving growth and understanding operational needs. Deliver comprehensive training on Amazon's processes, products, and operating models. Work collaboratively on the ground to support new product launches and partner effectively with operations and other internal teams.
Maintain and present regular performance reports on store business with Amazon, providing actionable recommendations. You will also be responsible for reporting on overall network health within your assigned territory.
Build and lead a multi-layer team, fostering performance through dedicated coaching and mentorship. Drive associates to meet and exceed their targets. Clearly communicate expectations and provide status updates, cultivating strong relationships with acquired and assigned stores for mutual growth.
Collaborate with stores and channel partners to enhance their operational efficiency and deliver a superior customer experience. Improve engagement with accounts to boost business and retention. Motivate stores to achieve key performance metrics such as volume and First Time Right (FTR).
Handle day-to-day operational escalations promptly and be available around the clock to manage urgent issues. Effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders. Provide support for station operations and customer deliveries as needed.
We are seeking individuals with strong leadership and people management capabilities, comfortable working under pressure and in ambiguous situations. Excellent communication skills are vital, enabling you to clearly convey objectives to individuals and teams, and actively listen to gain commitment.
A strong bias for exceptional customer service is crucial; you will inspire your team to understand and meet customer expectations. High ownership is expected, ensuring the successful delivery of solutions and services that meet customer needs.
Effective analytical skills are required to interpret information, identify key facts, and assess risks and advantages of different approaches. A Bachelor's degree or MBA is required, with a preference for candidates from a Sales or Telecom background. Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong communication and operations/people handling skills are essential.
