We are seeking a motivated Channel Team Lead for our Delivery Center, responsible for overseeing IHS operations and managing EDSPs. This role is crucial in supporting the DC Manager to achieve performance goals and drive the operational plan.
This position offers the opportunity to manage key aspects of our transportation network, ensuring efficient and effective delivery services. You will play a vital part in expanding our reach and enhancing the customer experience through strong partner relationships and operational excellence.
As a Channel Team Lead, your responsibilities will include identifying and acquiring new retail stores for onboarding, and diligently managing these channel partners to foster business growth with Amazon. You will execute strategic account plans to unlock business opportunities.
Your role will involve regular field visits to stores, providing essential training on Amazon's processes, products, and operating models. You will collaborate with operations and other teams to support new product launches and manage reporting on store performance, offering data-driven recommendations. Furthermore, you will build and lead a multi-layer team, driving their performance through coaching and mentoring to meet targets.
You will also focus on enhancing store engagement for business improvement and retention, driving stores to achieve key metrics like volume and FTR. Handling daily operational escalations and managing internal/external stakeholders will be critical. Support for station operations and customer deliveries is also part of this comprehensive role.
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's Degree or MBA, preferably with a background in Sales or Telecom. Advanced Excel proficiency and strong communication skills are essential.
Key leadership attributes include strong people management capabilities, the ability to perform under pressure and in ambiguous situations, and excellent communication and listening skills. A strong bias for great customer service, high ownership, and robust analytical skills to interpret information and assess risks are also vital.
Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering is required. A Bachelor's degree or PhD is preferred. The ability to work in ambiguous situations and clearly communicate objectives to individuals and teams is fundamental to success in this role.
