This role is pivotal in defining patterns, reusable tooling, and workflows that empower teams to build, deploy, and operate on EY Fabric efficiently and consistently. You will create the essential guidance and accelerators for post-sales teams, ensuring high standards of speed, quality, and security across all implementations.

Be a key player in creating intuitive DevEx patterns that streamline development and deployment. Your expertise will ensure developers and forward-deployed engineers have the clear direction, templates, and accelerators needed for seamless project execution. Define the comprehensive EY Fabric DevEx reference architecture, covering everything from developer onboarding to operational handoff. Develop and implement reusable developer experience patterns and establish 'golden paths' for common development scenarios. Create essential accelerators like repository scaffolds, pipeline templates, and deployment guides. Ensure these accelerators are practical and easily consumable by delivery teams.

Establish standards for critical areas such as GitHub, CI/CD, code review, and release governance. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align DevEx patterns with the platform's capabilities and future roadmap. Identify and resolve post-sales implementation challenges by developing standardized tooling and documentation. Act as the primary escalation point for complex DevEx issues affecting delivery velocity and quality.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with over 10 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or architecture is essential. Proficiency in Python/Java and GitHub is a must, with exposure to AI concepts, including LLMs/RAG. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, release management, and automation is required.

Demonstrated experience in building internal developer platforms, reusable templates, or self-service developer capabilities is highly valued. The ability to create clear, practical developer documentation and implementation assets, coupled with a strong understanding of secure software delivery practices, is crucial. Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing both engineering teams and leadership, are expected. Cloud, DevOps, GitHub, or Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
