As a Critical Projects Manager within the Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team in Amazon Data Services, India, you will manage construction activities in live data center environments. Your focus will be on infrastructure improvement projects designed to optimize space, power, and cooling utilization. This role goes beyond standard construction delivery, addressing unique challenges within operational data centers.

You will act as a technical resource, contributing to the design, building, and operation of Amazon's data facilities in India. This position requires end-to-end project oversight, including review of electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines. Identifying areas for improvement and acting on data insights will be crucial.

We are seeking candidates with a strong foundation in data center operations and project management. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in data centers or similar critical environments. Proven experience in vendor management, spanning over 3 years, is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is a must. While not mandatory, 3+ years of construction or project management experience is highly preferred.
