Join our team as a Core Infrastructure Engineer 2 and contribute to the evolution of distributed systems. You will implement and refine components, focusing on scalability and resilience under the guidance of experienced engineers. This role involves performance testing, optimizing for network variability, and developing robust fault-injection tests. You'll also play a part in data replication and synchronization efforts, enhancing system integrity.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the implementation and optimization of scalable distributed system components, executing performance and load testing, and contributing to fault-tolerant system design. You will also build telemetry and alerting systems, maintain operational runbooks, and participate in on-call rotations. Furthermore, you'll use automation and infrastructure-as-code scripts for troubleshooting and adhere to strict change management, security, and compliance procedures.

We are seeking candidates with 3-5+ years of industry experience in software development, possessing strong proficiency in C++ or Java, and a deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals. Essential skills include experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), systems programming with a focus on multi-threading and concurrency, and a solid grasp of distributed systems concepts. A BS in Computer Science is required, with a Masters degree being preferred. A strong curiosity and passion for system optimization are highly valued.
