Join our team as a Core Infrastructure Engineer and contribute to the enhancement of distributed systems. You will implement and refine system components, ensuring scalability and reliability. This role involves performance and load testing, configuring resilience features, and building robust monitoring and alerting systems.

Develop essential operational procedures, deploy scoped features, and conduct fault-injection tests. You'll also assist with basic data replication and synchronization tasks. Participation in on-call rotations and troubleshooting using automation scripts are key aspects, alongside adhering to security and compliance protocols.

System Scalability: Assist in implementing and optimizing distributed system components for horizontal and vertical scaling. Optimize code for large-scale data processing and implement scalability requirements.

System Reliability: Collaborate on building fault-tolerant components and learn about recovery-oriented computing. Configure and test retry mechanisms, circuit breakers, and timeouts to manage network variability.

System Performance: Implement testing and alarming configurations to detect issues. Support failure recovery through runbooks and operational procedures. Build dashboards and telemetry systems for component health monitoring.

Correctness/Availability: Implement functional requirements and feature testing. Conduct fault-injection tests and assist with basic data replication for integrity.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and debug system component issues. Follow protocols to prevent interruptions and use automation scripts for troubleshooting. Participate in operational support and incident response.
