As a Senior within the EY Assurance Team, you will serve as the primary point of contact from GDS for assigned tasks from global client-serving assurance teams. Your role will involve ensuring the timeliness and quality of deliverables, alongside managing the day-to-day operations of engagements.

Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery in accordance with EY GAM and global team expectations. Review procedures performed by GDS staff, applying a strong understanding of GAM and EY tools for efficiency and effectiveness. Cultivate productive relationships with key EY Global counterparts in the Americas or Europe. Integrate EY Quality and Risk Management procedures into engagement team workflows. Proactively manage workflow, allocate resources, and monitor team performance against standards. Oversee team utilization, budget-to-actuals, and other operational aspects. Communicate professionally, competently, and clearly with both GDS and Global teams. Establish clear expectations for value delivery to GDS Global teams. Identify opportunities to enhance the scope of work for GDS on your engagements. Standardize review processes and leverage best practices across engagements. Motivate, lead, and coach GDS team members, fostering key talents. Oversee various operational matters related to your assigned engagements. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and training, leading by example.

This role is ideal for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 0-1 year of experience in Assurance. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is expected. Demonstrating commercial acumen, technical experience, and an eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment are key attributes.
