Join the AWS Infrastructure Services team, the backbone of the cloud, responsible for designing, planning, and operating global AWS data centers. We are seeking a Controls Technician to ensure the optimal performance and health of our data center control systems. You will be part of a dynamic, innovative environment, working with cutting-edge technology and collaborating with diverse teams to maintain the highest standards of safety and security.

Key responsibilities include deploying data center controls on schedule with effective vendor management, ensuring minimal defects at handover. You will deliver critical projects for data center automation upgrades and provide essential service and support to partner teams, diagnosing and resolving operational incidents. A core part of this role involves meeting predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for task resolution and contributing to initiatives that enhance data center and operational efficiency.

Ideal candidates possess at least 2 years of relevant work experience and the ability to navigate job sites with uneven terrain. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with knowledge of network design, low voltage cabling, and data center engineering. You should be capable of performing physical tasks throughout the day and thrive in Amazon's fast-paced, large-scale operational environment, managing multiple priorities and collaborating effectively with global peers.
