This role focuses on administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting the Control-M workload automation platform. Ensure the reliable execution of enterprise batch jobs, manage incidents proactively, and drive continuous improvement in batch operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high availability for business-critical applications.

This position is part of the Global Business Shared Services (GBSS) Finance team, offering exposure to various finance functions. You will receive comprehensive training to become proficient in a shared service environment with a strong customer orientation and a focus on measurable, accountable performance.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and supporting daily Control-M batch processing across multiple environments, ensuring successful job execution, and resolving job failures and SLA breaches. You will manage Control-M job definitions, calendars, and workflows, perform root cause analysis for recurring issues, and coordinate with diverse technical teams for issue resolution.

Additional duties involve supporting application releases by validating job schedules, monitoring Control-M infrastructure health, executing batch recovery procedures, and developing automation scripts to enhance efficiency. You will also maintain operational documentation and participate in 24x7 on-call support rotations, adhering to ITIL processes.

We are seeking candidates with proficiency in BMC Control-M Workload Automation, including Enterprise Manager, Server, and Agents. Essential technical skills encompass job scheduling, batch processing, and file transfer management. Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows Server operating systems is required, along with proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash/Korn).

Familiarity with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server, and monitoring tools like ServiceNow and Splunk, is also necessary. Candidates should possess strong production support, batch operations management, and incident management skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or a B.Com with specified academic percentages, is essential. While prior experience is not mandatory for freshers, a willingness to learn and manage work under pressure is highly valued.
