This offshore role supports the Content Program Management Lead in overseeing Optum Rx's comprehensive content operating system. The focus spans Thought Leadership, Events/Executive Engagement, Digital/Social, and Direct Marketing. The Program Manager will ensure effective planning, delivery, governance, and reporting, enabling cross-functional teams to execute predictably and compliantly for the US business through optimized workflows and structured decision-making processes.
Oversee daily program execution across various channels, managing intake, prioritization, timelines, approvals, and issue tracking. Enforce adherence to brand, accessibility, and HIPAA standards, ensuring seamless handoffs between content managers, creative teams, campaign operations, and Compliance/Legal departments.
Facilitate key program ceremonies such as intake, prioritization, and status reviews. Maintain program plans, RAID logs, and stage-gate checklists, escalating risks with supporting data and proposed solutions. Coordinate cross-channel calendars and capacity, aligning milestones for Thought Leadership, Events, Digital/Social, and Direct Marketing with downstream activation strategies.
Champion governance in practice by managing taxonomy/metadata application, version control, accessibility checks, compliance approvals, and audit trail completeness. Operationalize AI-driven workflows for content creation, including brief templates, outline generation, variant development, and quality control prompts, all within Responsible AI guardrails and with human oversight. Partner with the creative studio and agencies to define briefs and SLAs, tracking cycle time, defects, and rework to foster continuous improvement.
Produce essential program dashboards and reports covering predictability, reuse rates, compliance findings, and engagement influence. Facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews. Assist with budget tracking, vendor coordination, and resource allocation in collaboration with the Content Program Management Lead. Adhere strictly to all employment contract terms, company policies, and directives, understanding that policies may be adapted or rescinded at the company's discretion.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience is required, with at least 6-8 years dedicated to program or project management within marketing/content operations or an enterprise PMO. Prior experience in the healthcare sector or in regulatory environments is highly preferred.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in managing RACI matrices, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), stage-gate processes, RAID logs, and facilitating cross-team ceremonies is essential. A strong understanding of Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Management Systems (CMS), metadata/taxonomy principles, and accessibility best practices is also critical.
Proven discipline in managing compliance workflows, including HIPAA-safe processes and Legal/Brand reviews, ensuring audit readiness. Practical exposure to leveraging AI in content operations, adhering to Responsible AI principles such as guardrails, human oversight, and documentation, is required.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities are paramount. Comfort in utilizing KPI dashboards and presenting to executive leadership is necessary. A Bachelor's degree is required, with certifications such as PMP, Agile/Lean, or DAM being preferred qualifications.
