EY is seeking a Consultant to join our Tax team in Noida. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to client engagements and drive profitable growth through efficient service delivery. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting engagements professionally and in line with client expectations and contractual terms. This includes preparing and filing individual tax returns, e-TDS returns, and drafting submissions for tax authorities. You will also represent clients before tax authorities and advise on structuring for employee movements, understanding immigration and provident fund aspects for expatriates.

Your role will also involve contributing to operational excellence by executing assigned work efficiently, adhering to firm methodologies and professional standards. You will leverage electronic working papers and various software for research, and analyze data to produce accurate and timely tax products. Maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism are paramount in all client interactions.

To be successful in this role, you should possess good written and oral communication skills, and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A strong analytical and numerical ability is essential, along with the capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You should be an enthusiastic self-starter, a dedicated team player, and possess excellent time management skills.

Ideally, you will also have good interpersonal skills, be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative, with comfort in interacting with senior executives. A certified CA qualification and 0-1 year of relevant experience are mandatory.
