EY is seeking a Consultant to join our TMT Indirect Tax team in Hyderabad. This role offers the chance to contribute to client engagements and drive profitable growth through efficient service delivery.

As a Consultant, you will be instrumental in ensuring client projects are executed effectively and professionally. You'll work within a dynamic team, contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence in tax services.

Key responsibilities include managing client engagements according to contractual terms and expectations. This involves preparing and filing tax returns, drafting submissions for tax authorities, and providing advice on international tax structuring. You will also gain exposure to immigration and provident fund regulations for expatriates.

You will foster a positive team environment, actively contributing to performance evaluations and knowledge sharing. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality work that consistently surpasses client expectations.

Operationally, you will assist in executing tasks within a group setting, leveraging tax professional expertise for comprehensive solutions. Efficient use of electronic working papers and research tools is expected, alongside continuous development of technical knowledge and compliance processes.

Analyzing and converting data into accurate tax products, and ensuring timely delivery, is a core function. You will also be responsible for checking documents for tax inspections and maintaining client confidentiality with professionalism and a cooperative attitude. Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance service delivery, share work status updates, and challenge traditional procedures for innovative approaches are encouraged.

Essential qualifications include being a certified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-1 year of relevant experience.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are vital. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. The ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines, coupled with strong analytical and numerical abilities, is crucial.
