As a Consultant, you will provide crucial support to seniors in addressing client queries on corporate tax matters, including capital gains, tax payments, and return preparation. You will conduct in-depth technical research on income-tax provisions affecting clients and prepare detailed submissions for assessment and appellate proceedings, representing clients before income-tax authorities on routine issues.

Your role will also involve managing administrative responsibilities for allocated clients, such as engagement letters, internal quality risk management, client paper filing, and billing follow-ups. You will ensure engagements are conducted professionally, adhering to client expectations and contractual terms. People responsibilities include maintaining a positive attitude, demonstrating a willingness to learn, and working collaboratively to enhance individual and team performance. You'll contribute and leverage knowledge from various sources, consistently delivering high-quality services that surpass client expectations.

Operationally, you will participate effectively in group work, assisting in the delivery of assignments and teaming with tax professionals for comprehensive solutions. Ensure all assigned work aligns with work programs, firm methodologies, guidance, and professional standards. Efficiently utilize electronic working papers and software for research. Develop and demonstrate technical competence by staying updated on trends and applying them to complex situations. Analyze and transform data into accurate and timely tax products (advisory/compliance), and diligently check documents for tax inspections. Professionalism, a positive and cooperative attitude, and maintaining client confidentiality are paramount.

To excel in this role, you must be a Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years of experience in the field. We are seeking individuals who can collaborate effectively across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
